The birthday boy turned 5 years old.

I made the birthday boy a "special" cupcake. A pirate ship.

The Cupcake Experiment:

In a few weeks, I am going to be making some Pirate cupcake toppers for my Best Bud's sons 5th birthday. I wanted to play around and get some ideas of how I want to make these things. So I decided to play around. Here's what I came up with:

"Arrrgh Matey, where be the treasure?"

I'll be making these for sure. I love them. So fun and cute! I drew the treasure map with edible food pens.

My next attempt will have to be better for when I actually make these for the party. I didn't like the way the mouth turned out. I mean this is skull and crossbones. The dude is dead! He shouldn't look so happy......
