A friend called last week and asked if I could make a cake for her son's 2nd birthday but there was one little problem.... I was going out of town.
I offered to make cupcake toppers before I left instead of a cake and said all she had to do was to make the cupcakes, frost them, and stick the toppers on them before the party! So that's what we did. We made a great team!
Her son was turning 2 and they were having a train themed party for him.
Here are the toppers.
These were my favorite. 
And here they are after she made the cupcakes and stuck them on top.
